  Have eaten at Katie's many times over past 7 years. Have even purchased one of the beautiful quilts they sell.
  It is hit and miss with this place. When the owner and wife are working, the food and service is okay.... when the owners are on vacation there is a young man who runs the place.
  He is not enthusiastic about his job. December 2015 we arrived and were told he was closing at 1:00 pm even though the hours posted said open till 2:00 pm.
  So we left.
  March 2016 we came in at noon.
  We ordered. When he brought us our food and the bill 20 minutes later, he asked us to leave at 12:30 pm as the restaurant was empty and he wanted to close early.
  He hovered, waiting for us to gulp our food down and leave.
  Food was awful and cold.
  Won't be going back anymore.

  I posted a pic of my "we'll done" tri- tip. It was under cooked and cold. The A-1 that I asked for was in a genuine A-1 bottle but was really catsup with some spices added. I am still here waiting to pay my bill of $16.14 for a heap of garbage they are calling breakfast. I wouldn't recommend this place to a pack of dogs and I thoroughly expect to get sick.

  A comfortable, reasonably priced local cafe with firendly staff. The food is good with adequate portions.
